What fits the cup holder
Our 16 oz car cup glass narrows toward the bottom so it sits low in the holder, and the 17 oz and tall glasses stand on a base of about 2.7 to 2.8 inches. The steel tumblers are built for it too: the 16 oz is a slim cylinder without a handle, and the 20 oz cup is listed to fit a standard cup holder.
Glass or steel comes down to the temperature. An iced coffee made at home rides well in glass with the lid on. A hot coffee belongs in steel, with the spout snapped shut before you pull away.
You can buy each of these, part of the BLUEPOLAR lineup, at the price of the last catalog update.
Hot drinks scald. The American Burn Association lists spilled hot drinks among common causes of scalds and asks you to keep hot cups away from table and counter edges and to use a lid that closes.
Questions
Questions about the BLUEPOLAR car cup holder tumbler
Will a BLUEPOLAR glass fit your car cup holder?
The 16 oz car cup glass narrows toward its base for the holder, and the 17 oz and tall glasses stand on a base of about 2.7 to 2.8 inches, which most holders take. Measure yours if the holder is unusually small.
Which BLUEPOLAR tumbler is best for hot coffee in your car?
A steel one: the 16 oz tumbler with a flip spout or the 20 oz cup with a sliding lid. Close the lid before you drive.
